In addition Tim has been named "All-American" over 8 times during his active racing triathlon career. Tim logged a number of sub 31-minute 10K's, 1:08 half-marathon with a 2:18 Full Marathon. Tim nailed down a sub 52-minute 40K bike split and rode his bike 3000 miles in 15 days straight! All for charity.
Tim currently coaches 40 wonderful athletes. A number of these athletes have been with him since he first began his coaching business. The majority of his athletes specialize in endurance events, Marathons, 50 & 100 mile running races, Ironman Triathlons, 24-Hour Mountain Bike events and 24-Hour Triathlon events. He always coaches a number of athletes who make the All-American List with USAT. This is a very select group ranked across the country where points are combined with overall placing and time.
Tim now provides special testing with VO2 and Resting Metabolic Rate. This information will be used for those athletes looking to lose weight or maintain it with the Metabolic Test or know how to train specifically with the VO2 TEST.
In addition Tim now tests the athletes Power/Watts along with Spin Scan which provides data for each pedal stroke and efficiency in order to improve cycling speed, positioning and overall performance.
Tim had 15 athletes compete in Ironman AZ in 2006, and had 18 compete in 2007, 25 in 2008, 33 in 2009. Tim is very proud of his athletes finish rate, he currently hold a 98% success finish rate. Athletes frequently set personal records during Ironman by 60 minutes and a few who set personal bests by over 2 hours. Tim is proud of this success and he plans to continue this tradition. Tim will have another 30+ athletes competing again this year. He looks forward to watching every one of these athletes cross that finish line.
Tim also has short course specialists who post top 10 finishes all season long. Not to mention some top 5 overall finishes in events like Soma, Nathan's and Mountain Man Triathlon locally here in Arizona. In 2010 he had 6 Top 3 Over-All finishes with 2 taking 1st Overall!
In addition, Tim coaches a few athletes out of state. Although he prefers working directly with the athletes locally, Tim maintains some incredible results through these athletes out of state. Tim believes in working face-to-face and talking weekly with each athlete as much as possible.
